President Donald Trump is using golf courses as an example of how he’s changing the country.
Trump is taking the lead in promoting his agenda at a time when the country is still trying to wrap its head around the devastating effects of the pandemic.
Trump took to Twitter on Monday to praise his efforts at a golf course in Delaware, saying he was ‘doing a lot of good things’ at the course.
‘Delaware is doing a lot more than you are seeing in other parts of the country,’ he tweeted.
Trump also said that golf courses are ‘doing very well.’
‘Very good,’ he wrote.
‘A few people are even looking at us.’
Trump has made golf a centerpiece of his administration, with golf courses being featured in several of his official White House photographs and the president himself frequently golfing at his New Jersey golf club.
