They have three of the top 10 picks in the first round this year: the UCLA offensive tackle Malik McDowell, Florida defensive end Sheldon Rankins, and Stanford cornerback Teez Tabor.
If the 49ers can snag McDowell and Rankins from the UCLA, McDowell would become the third quarterback in NFL history to go No. 2 overall.
