MOTORCYCLE SAFETY COURSE, NEW YORK (CNN) — A motorcycle safety course in New York State is making headlines after an eight-year-old boy was killed while riding on the course.
The accident happened in Newburgh, New York, on Wednesday morning when a 17-year old man was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle with two other children, according to the Newburgh News.
The three-hour ride ended when the boys crashed into a gate, killing the teen and his friend, the New York Post reported.
The Newburgh Police Department is investigating.
A GoFundMe page set up to help pay for the boy’s funeral has raised more than $50,000.
